Intelligent Finance cross browser ignorance.

The Intelligent Finance web site appears not to have been tested in the major browsers in use today. Annoying your customers is not the best policy for any company, making an important page on your web site confusing or inaccessible to around 35% of web surfers is just plain lazy.

And just to add some more complexity we have to think about the operating systems that these browsers run on. There are only two major operating systems that are worthy of attention at the present time and they are Microsoft Windows and Apple's OS X which runs on Macs. So our list now looks like this:

Internet Explorer and Chrome only run on Windows although Chrome is due to released for OS X in the near future.

By testing with the list above and making sure that all web pages are at least usable over 98% of all web surfers are going to see your web site in all it's glory. The other two percent are going to see something that is hopefully useful to them.
